About Us
NARETS is a Non- Profit organization founded in 2021 with the purpose of providing taxpayers with reliable resources and education related to real estate, and real estate taxation.
Founded by two industry experts with a combined 20+years of experience specializing in real estate taxation.
Over the years, they found that over 35% of tax returns reviewed for potential clients included major errors related to real estate reporting. These errors were found on both returns that were self-prepared by taxpayers, and those that were prepared by a paid professional. It was clear that a reliable education source was needed for both taxpayers, and tax professionals.
They came together to create NARETS as a way to provide real estate investors with that information.
NARETS is also the backing organization for the Certified Real Estate Tax Strategist™ Credential coming 2022.
